(More customer reviews)i had bought 4 sticks of 4gb of the 9200 (this one is 9600).the memory heat spreaders are very thick and bulky and will NOT allow you to use 4 sticks of these.

as it is i was BARELY able to squeeze in 2 of these and 2 of the reaper series sticks (though they are in at an angle)

so if you plan to use all 4 channels DO NOT get this.

(More customer reviews)When I built my new PC a few months back this memory was very expensive so I went with decent 800mhz ddr2 non SLI compliant. I was sad when I ran the service score and every aspect of the PC was at 5.9 excelt memory which was at 4.3. After installing this memory and changing the settings in the bios I was able to get to a 5.7. Since some of the software I run does not work well with a 64 bit system OS I need to stick with 4gigs. The memory its self is outstanding. I am fairly sure if I overclock it (currently at 0% OC) I would get a 5.9 (max score). Since Vista is a memory hog this is a plus. I may even need to try it on my xp pro and linux systems later to see how well it works (or doesnt).

(More customer reviews)Excellent memory, runs stable and cool at advertised speed. Memory fan is a plus when overclocking. Memory actually shows up as 800MHz in system bios but that can be easily fixed via manual settings. PC2-8500 is actually OC'ed PC2-6400 that is tested to run stable at 1066 MHz. I have used all brands of memory in many system builds and Corsair is one of my favorites. Corsair has an awesome support team....one of the best!

(More customer reviews)I did buy this product to replace my Kingston ValueRam DDR800 CL5 and although this ram is good and I have set it 800Mhz with timings to 4-4-4-12 2.0V I didnt raelize any difference in benchmarks(3Dmark2006) and in Everest comparing bandwidth and latency with my valueram PC6400 actually seen some lower bandwidth values in hyperx and also i noticed no difference in gaming. So i dont know why this ram should be considered as "special" hyperx. Also my valueram easely overclocked to 900Mhz and this one wont. By the way my system is stable and i have no problems at all with it.

This was one case where BB had a better price than Amazon, $599.99.This is an exceptionally good laptop for that kind of dough, it does everything I need it to and then some. I have to give kudos to Intel for this amazing processor, it is way faster than my core 2 duo, with a lot of the same specs. The screen, however, is my favorite part, really crisp and clear for every purpose. I am not a gamer though, so that may not be it's best purpose. For a general household computer, it is more than sufficient with internet needs, email, music storage and streaming, and for movies as well, although a blu-ray disc player would be a nice addition.Not that I can complain for the price!! This gets 2 very big thumbs up!
