(More customer reviews)So far I'm very pleased with this new Seagate drive.This is the third Seagate drive I've purchased recently and each one has installed without a single glitch.
The main reason for this is the CD/Software that comes with each drivecalled DiskWizard.This program will setup your drive for you, and then mirror your current drive including Operating System or you can install it as a second drive. No more fdisk, format, etc., DiskWizard does all of this for you. (Check Windows version compatibility)
If you are replacing a drive, after running DiskWizard, set the jumper (if not using CS (Cable Select) to Master, remove your old drive, turn the PC on and it boots right up. Truly painless.
This drive has performed very well, is fast, and has a high capacity for storing massive amounts of photos, movies, and mp3's.

The drive seems to be well designed and quality is outstanding.
