The finish is distinctly more silvery instead of the matte titanium design.It appears that the casing is no longer made of Liquidmetal? as were the 8/4/2gb models.
Ti Cruzer continues to ship with U3 Smart Technology enabled. However the majority of users choose to remove this using the U3 removal tool provided by Sandisk.
The 16gb no longer includes a pocket clip or lanyard but neither did the 8gb models.
The performance is unchanged compared to the 8GB model at 15MB/s read speed & 9MB/s write speed.
It appears that Sandisk decided to cut corners with the latest Titanium.
I would have rated this flash drive a 5 Star had Sandisk left well enough alone...
